Roller Garage Door FAQs
The Basic range uses 55mm slats, which allows the door to roll into a much smaller box (approx. 205mm). This is ideal for garages with very low ceilings. The Better range uses 77mm slats; these are significantly thicker and offer much better insulation and wind resistance, making them the preferred choice for garages attached to the house.
Absolutely. All our doors feature auto-locking mechanisms that prevent the door from being forced open from the outside. Our “Better” and “Best” ranges also include Secured by Design approval (Police-preferred specification) and anti-lift technology as standard.
Every electric door we install comes with an Internal Manual Override. This allows you to hand-crank the door open from the inside. If your garage has no other entrance, we can install an External Emergency Release to ensure you are never locked out.
We take pride in our durability. Depending on the model chosen, we offer a comprehensive 5-year to 10-year warranty on the motor and components, alongside an optional annual servicing scheme to keep your door running smoothly for decades.
