This compact roller garage door is an ingeniously designed solution, engineered specifically for garages with limited headroom. It distinguishes itself by utilising smaller 55mm insulated slats, which allows for a significantly more compact roll and a smaller box enclosure often as little as 205mm (8 inches) compared to 300-350mm for standard roller doors.

While generally not as insulated as thicker 77mm slats or sectional doors, 55mm compact roller doors often feature insulated aluminium slats with a foam core. This provides a degree of thermal efficiency, helping to retain some heat and reduce noise.

This design makes it an exceptional choice when maximising usable garage space is a priority, offering a sleek aesthetic combined with essential, reliable features.
